Queen

Queen is a 8-year-old buckskin american quarter horse mare standing 14.3 hands. Finished ranch and trail broke, with a kind, ranch-raised outlook. They just don't come much fancier. With dapples, mane, and tail for days, Queen is the whole shebang with a power-packed pedigree, conformationally correct, very versatile all-around trained, her color is just a bonus. At 5 years old, she has her entire life ahead of her. Ride her now and have one heck of a future broodmare. Queen has a reining foundation with pretty spins, balanced circles, easy lead change, and a deep stop. She has great lead departures, a nice side pass, and is good with logs, drags, bridge, and other trail obstacles. She has a slow, smooth, rocking-chair lope and cute little jog. Queen has been worked on cattle in the cutting pen and been roped on. We have used her all over our ranch to move and sort cattle. She is very cowy and has a lot of try, very adaptable and could go many directions. A pretty mover, naturally level-headed with a ton of eye appeal and presence, you can't walk by her without a second glance. Queen is a trail-riding machine, as brave and confident outside as any horse, rides great alone or in a group. There isn't anywhere she won't go, through mud, water, around prickly cactus, brush, rocks, just point and go, she won't hesitate or say no. Always gentle to saddle up and go even with time off. She has great ground manners and will ground tie anywhere you drop a rein. She loves attention and being groomed and pampered. Queen is good with other horses and can be tied next to, trailered with, and turned out with a group of horses without marish tendencies. She's easy to own and have around the barn.
