Blaze is a 10-year-old black tobiano spotted saddle horse gelding standing 15.1 hands. Smooth gaited and trail broke, with a kind, ranch-raised outlook. Made into something truly special through countless hours of trail riding and camping. You name it, he can do it, he lays down, steps over to the mounting block, parks out to be mounted, and does other tricks like bowing and sitting. Blaze has had extensive groundwork, is very respectful, and yet very in-your-pocket. He gives off both hindquarters and shoulders, is extremely good gaited and very smooth, with a to-die-for canter. He lopes circles, picks up both leads, and lopes as slow as you want—like riding a Quarter Horse that just happens to gait. He neck reins, has a great whoa and reverse, side passes both directions, opens gates, ropes, and you can shoot off him. He has great manners in cross ties or tied out—you can tie him anywhere and leave him without worry. He stands tied at a picket line and respects an electric fence. Blaze handles like a big puppy, loves to be groomed and bathed, is great with his feet, and perfect for the farrier. He stands dead still to be saddled and drops his head to be bridled. Blaze always rides off slow and easy, even if you haven't ridden him for weeks. He rides out with or without company, anywhere in a group, without getting excited. A phenomenal trail horse, he goes absolutely anywhere you point him, easing up and down the roughest, steepest terrain, crossing all types of water, slippery rocks, and fallen trees.
